As Executive Director of IMI, Daniel leads the nonprofit’s management team and oversees the implementation of the organization’s business model. In his last year at Caltech, Daniel completed two independent theses on wheelchair development for the developing world. Daniel is an accomplished researcher whose work has helped IMI develop on both the engineering and business fronts. Daniel developed his engineering experience as a research fellow under both Dr. Melany Hunt, Vice Provost of Caltech, and Dr. Joel Burdick. In industry, Daniel has worked for the California Air Resources Board on the output of diesel engines and for Honeywell Aerospace on the design of environmental control systems. Daniel received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and Business, Economics, and Management from Caltech.
